The mission of Pictures of the Year International is to recognize excellence in documentary photography and photojournalism, within both still and motion formats. When you enter POYi, your work becomes a part of visual history. Now in its 65th year, POYi is important because it is a living and a valuable archive. More than 39,000 photographs have been selected as the best pictures from each year, 1943 to now.
 
You are invited to submit your entire entry through an efficient online process — from preparation, to registration, to uploading all your images, including entry fee payment.
