Gwyneth Paltrow will be in London cooking Thanksgiving dinner for her American friends. Maybe I will run into her — I myself am actually heading to London (Topshop here I come!) and Paris. 41 million Americans are traveling this Thanksgiving holiday. Here are a few things to help you survive your trip in style…

1. CARRY IT!
The Zuca Pro is sporty roller luggage that is customizable. Paris Hilton, Michelle Williams and Kristi Yamaguchi have the "Pro," which is FAA approved as a carry on and easily fits into overheads. It also features a TSA approved toiletry bag and removable pouches that stack like drawers. But best of all it has a built in seat! Great for long lines at the airport or train station. The Zuca Pro retails for $285 and comes in black and pink. www.zuca.com.

2. WRAP IT!
No way am I using those airplane blankets, especially now that you have to pay for them. I always take my beautiful White+Warren cashmere travel wrap with me. (Mine is royal blue, but it comes in many colors!). Brooke Shields, Blake Lively and Angelina Jolie have several and Angelina has also worn hers on the red carpet and used them as baby blankets! Now that's what we love - something that can multi-task! The travel wrap retails for $275 and is available at www.whiteandwarren.com.

3. CLEAN IT!
I am obsessive about germs when I am on the road I never leave home without a massive supply of Emergen-C, Airborne and Berocca (which I bring back from Europe). For the ultimate germ-a-phobe, there's the "Germ-Free Pak" by Flight 001. The carry-on approved kit contains anti-bacterial hand soap sheets, toilet seat covers, no-cooties spray, anti-bacterial towelettes, mini tissues and E-Boost immunity booster. Great to disinfect plane and train seats, hotel rooms - even rental cars. Yes, I know, I have issues! $32. www.flight001.com.

4. BRING IT!
Some people never leave home without their American Express. I would never leave home without my iPod. I can catch up on books, movies, listen to music and play games of course - ideal for drowning out the screaming kid next to me. Other essentials? Healthy snacks so I can avoid airplane food and fast food chains when on the road. And comfy clothes are a must. J. Crew's new yoga collection is comfy, but still chic! Of course, you can also wear it to workout in later. A resistance band is easy to pack for on-the-go exercise.

5. FIND IT!
For road trips, portable GPS is a must. No more fights over getting lost. If your phone is GPS capable, Google maps is a must.

If you are using your time off to see the world instead of visiting family (which I am guilty of!), find cool new places to go when you hit cities like London, Amsterdam and Lisboa, check out Le Cool, which features online guides and print books. www.lecoolbook.com.

SAFE TRAVELS!
