At the Oscar Nominations!!!!!

This is interesting. I am inside the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills setting up my cameras as the other tech crews set the monitor colors with the Oscar(R) logo on it. Other media outlets are seeting and marking their spots with tripods, tape, people and rigs. Our tech check in time was 12 midnite. At 3 30 the place is cleared while the Academy serves us breakfast while the talent rehearses on stage. Oscar winner Forest Whitaker and Academy President Sid Ganis are scheduled to host the nominations. Just found out that they are only going to announce 10 catagories and the rest of the nominations will be in our press kit to be handed to us prior to leaving. The theater closes at 7 am sharp and we all must be gone by then-- and I will be! I will then catch a cab back to my hotel then transmit. After world wide transmission,I will grab breakfast. Also, there will not be a "Meet the Oscars" in Hollywood. 81st Academy Awards®
