Dear Ken,
I use photography to tell stories. On ONE's recent listening and learning trip to Ghana and Sierra Leone, we focused on women and programs affecting change. I felt honored to be a part of that trip, and photograph some amazing women.
Now I want to share their achievements with you through an online presentation of the exhibit we showed live in Washington, DC, last week. Join me for "Women Who Go Beyond: Success Stories From Africa," a photographic journey I hope will celebrate and connect you with the women we met on our trip.

The communities we visited all had different stories of hardship. But it was their strength, resilience and hope that inspired me. In these photographs, you'll see women increasing productivity on farms, young girls attending school, and nurses decreasing the chance that babies born to HIV-positive mothers will contract the virus. These communities are proof that investments in global health and development are working, and that accelerating our action will produce greater tangible results.
The photo exhibit ran all last week on Capitol Hill in honor of International Women's Day. And with the exhibit's premiere on March 10, we heralded the official launch of Women ONE2ONE—a campaign to save women’s lives and increase their opportunities through the collective strength of women.
Now, we're bringing this exhibit to you through an online presentation of the photographs. See them here:
