Application for "Spring Fest Art Show" on Saturday, May 1 at the Park Place
Shopping Center at Palm and Nees in Fresno.

"Spring Fest Art Show"

1. Spring Fest Art Show is a fine art show which will be juried.

2. All work will be reviewed by selected judges.

3. Only original Art work will be allowed.

4. All work must be priced and offered for sale by the Artist. You (the
artist) must have a valid California resale license, and are solely
responsible for the collection of all sales taxes.

5. The show begins at 10 am to 4 pm, unless other arrangements have been
made with CMS Productions.

6. The Fee for entering the show is $105 for a single outdoor space, or
$145 for a double outdoor space

7. Your will be given a (10 x 10) single area to show your work. Spaces
will be assigned by first come, first serve. You are responsible for your
own tables,

Canopies, (must be white tops) etc.

8. Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day for you
and your assistant, (1) assistant per artist.

9. I will provide postcards to any artist who would like to mail them to
their prospective clients.

10. We will also provide advertising such as: Fresno Bee Advertising

11. It is necessary for you to return the application, along with your
payment for your space, you must also include 3 examples of your work, your
pictures will be returned to you the day of the show.

12. If you are not accepted, we will return your application fee and

merchants and Tutelain EnterprisesLLC will not be held liable for any
injuries, or losses, or to anyone who claims injuries, or loss of items,
before, during or after the show.

By signing the application below, you are stating that you understand and
you fully accept all of the above rules. If for any reason you do not abide
by these rules, you may be asked to leave the show and no refund will be
made to you. No refunds of the application will be made, unless

an Emergency Medical situation arises. At this time, you must contact me,
Maria Contreras to make these arrangements. Please return the entire 2 page
application, if you would like a copy for your records, please make a copy
for yourself, but return the original, please include your pictures along
with your application fee.

Since there are so many candidates for District 3 (the Downtown district) we
decided to have a Candidates Reception so we can get to know them - and so
that they can understand what Downtown is all about. We're planning to hold
it in the Sky Room on Wednesday, April 21 from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm. There will
be appetizers and a no-host bar. We have not confirmed candidates yet,
because we wanted them to know who all the partners are. We're planning to
provide the candidates with about 5 questions to which they will provide
written answers which we will then make available in a handout at the
reception. We will also allow each candidate to speak for 2-3 minutes
beginning at 5:45 pm. That could take half an hour, since there are nine of
them. Might a timer help? In doing this, we'd like as many partners as we
can find who have a vested interest in Downtown Fresno. Of course, that
includes Fresno Arts Council.

Here's what's involved for you:

1. Agree to partner

2. Agree to contribute $25 for appetizers (will have paypal on our
website set up for this by the end of the week)

3. Provide organization description (your description from our
Candidates Forum in 2008 is attached below).

4. Provide organization logo

5. Provide display materials about your organization at a small table
at the reception (think Sky Room size table)

6. Provide input on the questions

7. Encourage your members and others to attend
