Fresno County & Fresno Arts Council

Call to Artists

Local Artists are invited to a meeting presented by the Fresno Arts Council
(FAC) and Fresno County on:

Thursday, May 27th

12 Noon

Fresno Arts Council Office

1245 Van Ness

The purpose of the meeting is to present the details of Fresno County's "Art
for the Web" project. The project's goal is to provide our local artists
with the opportunity for exposure of their artwork to a local, regional and
world-wide viewing audience of about 6,000 viewers per day on
www.co.fresno.ca.us <http://www.co.fresno.ca.us/> .

"Art for the Web" was initiated last year with a kick-off meeting with
overflow attendance. As a result the County & FAC want to give more artists
an opportunity to participate. This year, Fresno County Chief Information
Officer, Gary Osmondson will explain and discuss the program. Also in
attendance will be Gayle Surabian, Fresno County Public Information Officer,
Daniel Moore, Sr. IT Analyst and Regina Wheeler, Web Services Coordinator.

Artists this is a GREAT opportunity at no cost-so bring a brown bag lunch;
images of your artwork on a CD, your bio. A copy of the Agreement between
parties can be obtained either at the workshop or by RSVPing
mfranco@fresnoartscouncil.org, space is limited. Meter parking and parking
at the CVS parking lot (Van Ness & Tuolumne).

Fresno Arts Council and Fresno County welcome artist participation.
