Hi Local Artists:

You are invited to a meeting presented by the Fresno Arts Council (FAC) and Fresno County on Thursday, May 27th at 12 Noon at the FAC office 1245 Van Ness (Fresno & Merced streets) in downtown Fresno The purpose of the meeting is to present the details of Fresno County’s “Art for the Web” project.  The project’s goal is to provide our local artists with the opportunity for exposure of their artwork to a local, regional and world-wide viewing audience of about 6,000 viewers per day on www.co.fresno.ca.us.

“Art for the Web” was initiated last year with a kick-off meeting we sponsored and there was an overflow attendance.  We are bringing it back again to give more artists an opportunity to participate.  This year, Fresno County Chief Information Officer, Gary Osmondson will explain and discuss the program.  Also joining us will be Gayle Surabian, Fresno County Public Information Officer, Daniel Moore, Sr. IT Analyst and Regina Wheeler, Web Services Coordinator.

Artists this is a GREAT opportunity at no cost—so bring a brown bag lunch; images of your artwork on a CD, your bio, and a copy of the agreement (we will e-mail you a copy).  Please RSVP to mfranco@fresnoartscouncil.org, space is limited.  Looking forward to seeing you on Thursday, May 27.  Meter parking and parking at the CVS parking lot (Van Ness & Tuolumne) available at a cost.  Thank you, Fresno Arts Council and Fresno County
