Fotolog- PDN

New York, NY, May 14, 2007. Fotolog, Inc. today announced that the world’s largest photo-blogging community and third most-trafficked social media network on the Web had surpassed 8 million members, less than seven weeks after it passed the seven-million member mark. More than two and a half million new members have joined Fotolog™ thus far in 2007 alone.
Fotolog continues to experience rapid growth in Europe with Spain and Italy among the countries featuring the fastest-growing communities. Fotolog is currently ranked 24 in the Alexa Global 500 list of the word’s most-trafficked sites and has ranked in the top 30 since October 2006.
John Borthwick, Chief Executive Officer of Fotolog Inc., stated, “Fotolog is building on our exceptional momentum – we’re adding more than 650,000 members a month from more than 70 countries. The AOL deal we announced this past week will allow us to make our already unmatched user experience even more compelling and immediate, thereby further accelerating our growth and advancing our increasingly fruitful efforts to monetize our base.”
Fotolog recently announced a partnership with AOL’s Userplane under which the site will integrate the full set of Userplane’s chat, messaging and advertising tools to dramatically heighten its powerful social media networking experience and its ability to monetize its audience.
