Painet received the following request for photos:

Deadline: 23 May 2008
Request Subject: African Life & Culture - MODEL RELEASE REQUIRED (Note: Fax model release to 701-947-5933 or email release to painet@stellarnet.com or FTP the release along with the image(s). Indicate the Image Filename with the release.)
Request: Most importantly: Images must be MODEL RELEASED.
- Images should be 'slice of life' and must be from the African countries listed below. They should be POSITIVE. Grim subject matter is not appropriate.
- Can include both sexes and all ages. Photos that are portraits are of less interest (including groups of children gathered, smiling at the camera) but should not be ruled out if completely if they are excellent photographically. Overall good quality and of course high-resolution are needed.
Release: A model or property release is required. 
Budget: US$3,500.00. (for use other than book, magazine or brochure eg. poster, calender, advert, tv, website etc)
Budget Notes: We usually spend anywhere from $1000-$4,000 for images depending on our use, the image qulaity, etc. Primary use is full page 4-color print advertsing. This is a philanthropic program that raises awarenss of global health issues and includes our partner organizations such as UNICEF and Red Cross, which our vendors typically ackowledge. We do not sell product in the campaign.

We REQUIRE images be in JPEG format, with a minimum file size of 2 MB that opens up to a minimum of 24 MB in Photoshop. If you are emailing images, Include your contact information (name, mailing address, telephone numbers, etc.) in the body of the email. If you are FTPing images, put the contact information in the IPTC (File Info area of Photoshop).
